From the time spent in Germany so far, there have been many nice things to see and do and cycling along the Elbe – either side is an absolute pleasure. There are exquisite thatched cottages or mansions. There are delightful apples and cherry orchards and there are many many nice bakeries!
The cycle pathways are very very easy to navigate too and the terrain is mostly flat – the only problem is that the wind can be rather brutal if it’s against you.
