Arriving in Norden after a day cycling in the sun and was welcomed by the cutest German couple ever. They were on bicycles too and spending some time together away after studying. We had a lovely evening – and even played dice (?) something I have never played before.
The campingplatz was filled with other cyclists too and one very interesting man called Dirk – he is cycling around the globe collecting sand and ground specimens – working with a Japanese bio-chemist brand and some other brands to promote pollution on the beaches. An initiative set up to encourage tourists to actively take part in beach cleans amongst other local groups. He was fun to talk too and had an amazing swiss army bike.
