Since coming over to the south-east coast it has been incredible weather. My days have dropped down to sometimes only miles a day but I’m just loving being here. It has a different feeling to it in comparison to north-west Sweden – up there is felt very full on and (as it was midsummer) very hectic. I feel mean saying this and its only an observation and what do I know at 27, but well now looking back over the week, the north-west seemed sort of snobby, it was about money, sailing, fashion, eating out and the south-east feels more real – people don’t get bothered so much, they just want to be either together in love, cycling or lazing – i have seen so many cute couples riding out vintage tandem bikes – it’s just sooo romantic. So with the great weather and a lovely campsite perched right on the beach I stayed 2 nights just on the point of Loderups (about 100km east of Trelleborg). Have been reading new book and it sucked me right in – how 5hrs can just disappear when reading…
