The wind was cold and strong today so had a very chilled out day – pottered around Kirkwell and did a few bits and pieces. Witnessed a ‘blackening’ and enjoyed an Orkney Island parade – bag pipes, drums, and men in skirts. Got myself to hospital to get finger looked over – they’re not going to chop it off – said I could keep it.
