keeping things dry-wetbags

Have been pre-warned about anything and everything getting wet along the way, even though equipment and clothes are waterproof. Was advised to get some wetbags, as well to help organise in the panniers where clean, dirty, riding, non-riding clothes are.

Found some waterproof fabrics that had been given on my Masters programme. Some lightweight, some ripstop’s and some coated fabrics so began to make some. Unfortunately, I don’t just have a taping machine to seal the seams so duct tape did instead. Really enjoyed getting on the sewing machine again and came away with all fingers in tact.

Just made very simply with a circular piece of fabric, then a tubular piece of fabric (sewn up the side). Nylon webbing sewn on the top (double crossed stitching to secure the webbing) and then strong fasteners. Happy to give any help on these, as they were dead easy to make.
