this is the other bits

brazilian panniers

I have been very fortunate to be loaned and given some bits and pieces to go away with as I had never expected that the costs involved in something like this would be so much. Coming back to the UK after all of the change is really bad, I never remember things being so expensive?

My budget is very small I imagine to most peoples – from the blog’s and webpage’s viewed these cycle tourer’s have pretty smart bikes and along with that pretty smart everything else, but I just can’t afford it. Well I can, but I want to travel more after this.

I was fortunate to have a biking guy agree to sponsor me some of his gear – well panniers and they look great on the website – am soooo excited to receive them…am just waiting. Post takes ages to get from Brazil.

The company is called ProBike and from what I know it’s quite a new company. I’m not that familiar with the biking scene in Brazil but whilst researching bike travel I have begun to to seen more and more information on the internet regarding biking over there, either touring or MTB and really from the pictures I’ve seen it would be amazing to MTB out there!! but bloody hot, you would want to go out of the summer season… and they are reversed to us, like N.Zealand.

Anyway, he has a lovely name, Cesar – well I think its lovely and I just think that he was very kind to offer me his help. Now… I don’t speak Brazilian Portuguese and the website right now is only in this language but I do believe it will be translated at some point.

When they arrive I will be sure to update my thoughts on them.
